Software Solutions Engineer - NO SALES EXP

Job Summary

This position does not require prior sales experience, nor will you be asked to do sales.  This position will only be tasked with presenting software solutions to already engaged clients.  

The Lead Solutions Engineer is responsible for presenting our Service and Support team in the best light to prospects and customers based on a customer's specific business requirements. The successful candidate should bring experience that establishes credibility and maintain a presence / delivery that is confident and assured. The primary goal of our team members is to design, architect and implement the best possible technical solutions to our clients’ business requirements.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Business requirements assessment and delivery of findings including key pain points, proposed solutions to meet business needs, and ROI where applicable
  • Discussing and proposing a full stack technical solution architecture that includes enterprise service integration points, systems of record, service APIs, infrastructure considerations, leveraging existing resources where applicable, future proof and scalability
  • Lead technology team in implementation of accepted technology architecture/design
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environments
  • Multi­task, work in a demanding team environment, quickly problem-solve and be responsive

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 8+ years professional experience
  • Must have experience in the Healthcare industry and Technology experience
  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience as a Solution Engineer preferably in the healthcare space
  • A working knowledge of call center/contact center operations and processes
  • General knowledge of related applications, relational database, and web technology
  • Application configuration experience using declarative designers/tools
  • Extensive programming experience in web based technologies
  • Workflow / BPM / integration experience
  • Past experience with one or more of the following CRM solutions: RightNOW, Microsoft, Siebel, Oracle on Demand, SAP, Pegasystems (PEGA)
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as .NET, J2EE architecture: Java, XML, JSP, HTML, and SQL
  • Experience with relational databases including Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
